Ladyshroom

The costume you made is adorable. I really liked the subtle movements you have in the first minute. I liked the second part of the video at first but I wish that the "ladyshroom" did more--maybe stood up from the chair and danced around a little, and then sat back down again.

I am a fan of subtlety. Thus, your piece is one of my favorites.

I think the attention to negative space and original composition made this really strong.

Awesome costume, funny and bizarre imagery. I only wish it was completely white and the subject was standing or knees slightly bent.

this is very nice. i like the recreation of the mushroom, it's perfect. the background is awesome, the bench and tights are awesome. very clean.
i like the movements the mushroom makes, and there could be a little more excitement, but as it is, it's very nice and even a little creepy.

Tell me this person isn't a dancer because the sickled (sp?) foot is really getting on my nerves :) The piece was very well done- the outfit was a nice recreation. I wish she was standing to match the original, but it was nicely executed.

Nice job on recreating this piece! Enjoyed the second half where she's dancing in place - maybe she could've moved around more? Other than, I enjoyed it!

like everyone has said, this is very subtle yet interesting, and you really did recreate the subject and overall composition very well. i also wish she would have stood up and danced more in the second part, but then again chris has a good point about the subtlety of this piece and more dancing probably would have detracted from that.

I really liked your piece! I agree with Chris, its strength lies in its subtlety, so I don't have a problem with the legs not moving around too much. I thought maybe some sound might have been beneficial... but I liked it without sound, so I'm not sure. I wish the floor wasn't so dark, but what can you do? Nice piece!

the costume alone is very nice..the slight leg movements were a good way to incorporate subtle changes throughout
